The Opportunity

A therapist turned life coach, Elliott Lea is expanding female entrepreneurs’ vision of possibility with curiosity, integrity, and authority. Their goal is to help women in business find more joy and contentment in their lives by expanding the capacity of what they believe is possible. The brand’s founder, Elliott, needed clarity in the vision for the brand and a grounded strategy to help her achieve her goals.

The Solution

Still in the beginning stages of building her business, Elliott wasn’t quite ready to invest in a full branding suite with a visual identity as well as a strategy. We started with getting real clear on her strategy alone so she could lead and create with confidence for what her brand stands for and what she is setting out to achieve.

Let’s Break it Down

Brand Strategy

Let’s be real… a brand’s strategy is the “hidden” driver of a brand’s visual identity. So as easy as it is to approach a designer and say, “Hey, I need a logo!”, it’s rarely (if ever) recommended that a logo, or any part of a brand’s visual identity, is created before certain components of the strategy are clarified. For Elliott Lea, she already knew what she was doing in her business, what her services are, and who her audience is. What wasn’t real clear was her messaging. In an industry that is often diluted with ambiguous language and vague statements, it was important to refine the communication around her services and ultimately, who her brand is here to serve.
